Guided by the naturopathic principle of “Doctor as Teacher,” Dr. Megan empowers patients with an evidence-based approach to understand and uncover the root cause of their health concerns. Originally from the Czech Republic, Renata grew up in Toronto’s west end, Etobicoke. She has a background in the arts, as well as many years working with the public as a retail manager and buyer. While she enjoyed working with people, and always being on the move, eventually the job left her feeling unfulfilled and ready for a change. With a twist of fate, a lot of hard work and determination, Renata graduated from Sutherland-Chan Teaching School and Clinic in 2013, and was able to turn a lifelong interest in health, wellness, and healing, into a career she is passionate about.
Renata has experience in treating thoracic outlet, carpal tunnel and piriformis syndromes, trigger points, postural dysfunctions, and pregnancy massage. Combining an intuitive as well as clinical approach to her treatments, she provides tailored massage therapy to each patient. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and educating her patients, so that they can become proactive in their own recovery process. In the near future, Renata is looking forward to adding advanced myofascial release, cupping and aromatherapy to her skill set.
